We drive by this park every day on the way to and from school and Jude likes to say "goodbye" to the slides. We decided to kick the weekend off right by stopping in on the way home (and ran into David, another boy from Jude's class).

Jude had his first fortune cookies tonight. My favorite of his fortunes? "Ask someone older for advice."

Surprised face! Jude is starting to understand that we all feel different emotions and that our faces can express those feelings. it's been super fun to ask him to make all kinds of different faces. My favorite is sneaky face, but we're still working on getting that one captured on camera.

Freakishly warm weather this Friday evening meant we got to spend lots of time outside with the neighborhood kids. Jude? After riding his bike for a while, he swiped the neighbor's (purple) sidewalk chalk, and proceeded to transform everything around him into a purple paradise - the driveway, his pants, the back wheel of his bike...
