We took a walk/ride to one of the parks by our new house. It was a little warm so the slides were hot, but this tunnel was nice and cool.

A new puzzle came in the mail from Grandma Rey. All 51 pieces of it - completed (with a little help from Mommy, of course). When we were all done he said, "We had a great time doing this puzzle." I'd say the gift was a success!

Today was supposed to be the closing on our townhouse. It didn't happen (but we're assured it WILL). Also, it got up to 103 degrees today. It was for SURE an ice cream kind of night. Still, Jude lives Mommy more than ice cream :-)

First day in the new house, first night in the big boy bed!! He was SO excited - he couldn't wait to get into bed by himself. And then, as Lindsay was tucking him in, "I am not a baby anymore." Heartbreak!

Jude is so excited that Mommy built him a train table (aka the $40 coffee table from Ikea). And that it's in HIS basement. When Lindsay dropped him off at school this morning, his teacher said, "so... You guys have a basement in your new house? Jude won't stop talking about it."

Happy July 4! Juders actually stayed up to watch fireworks with us! He was a little scared at first, but he did it and actually kind if enjoyed it by the end.

We took Jude to the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium today. I have lots of fond childhood memories there and it was awesome to see Jude wowed by some of the amazing fish. The sad thing is, not much has changed in 25 years. At least Jude didn't care!
