We went to the splash pad again, this time with friends Miller and Sully (of birthday cake extravaganza fame). All three boys were beside themselves with excitement. Me? I was beside myself with excitement from the morning's perfect weather, which we got to enjoy eating breakfast outside. Summer!

While at the park this evening Jude wandered over to the basketball court to see if the guys playing pickup needed another man. He even came prepared with his own ball and Lakers shirt.

Jude just couldn't get enough water play this weekend. While I was at book club this afternoon Lindsay took him to the indoor/outdoor pool in Maple Grove. He had a blast, for sure, but she couldn't have the camera poolside. No problem. She reports that Jude found the lockers just as entertaining as the pool!

The stars finally aligned and we were able to make it to the splash pad in St. Louis Park with a few friends. Jude had so much fun running around and he completely exhausted himself. We're checking out real estate in the area.

When we got home from Target this evening, Jude had his red car and his green ball. A difficult balancing act, to be sure. If only there were something he could put all of his toys in so he could carry them around....



Ah ha! That did it!

But wait! Did you guys know that you can actually fit THREE balls AND the little red car in the bag?!?!? Looks like we have a new bag that needs to follow us everywhere we go...

(We had negotiate with Jude to sleep with ONLY his green ball. We then needed to make sure the bag was sitting outside his door so he wouldn't obsess over it all night. Jeesh. Babies.)
