We met up with the Johnson family (of mahalo.ne.trash fame) and before dinner at the very prestigious Caltech faculty club, we made sure to check out the turtle pond. There were so many crawling out and onto the sidewalk - amazing! Between the turtles and the three boys together, Lindsay was dying of cute.

Jude was so excited this morning when he discovered that Sully is on his shirt. Too bad that didn't stop him from grabbing the poor dog's jowls and giving them a tug. That dog deserves a medal of valor.

Since Lindsay went back to Indiana this weekend for her 10 year college reunion, Kasey came over to hang out with me and The Juders. I think Jude thought I was cheating on Lindsay. Either that, or he thought Lindsay changed dramatically.

We returned from our weeklong "Up Nort" adventure to some beeeeeutiful weather here in the cities. Jude got some water table time in but more importantly, he got some time with his new obsession - boats.

We were on a boat, y'all! Jude has been obsessed with watching the boats from our cabin so we thought he might be beside himself with glee to actually be on a boat. I'm not sure he quite understood the magnitude of the occasion, but it was still pretty exciting (until we heard thunder and saw lightning and sped back to the cabin!)

Jude took me on a little walk today (no, really. We were playing in front of the cabin and he took off). While on the walk, he invented a game called, "pick up two rocks and throw them then pick them up and throw them again." it was awesome.
