It was my turn to travel for work this week. Though it sucked that I had to drive, at least it meant I was able to bring home cupcakes from Omaha (what? Isn't that what you're supposed to get in Omaha?). Jude chose red velvet and, as you can see, he thoroughly enjoyed it. He's definitely a kid who gets into his food.

With Mommy traveling most of last week and me traveling most of next week, we really tried to make the most of the weekend. In addition to Jude getting a haircut, we also stopped by the art store. Jude picked out some beads and pipecleaners and went to town making jewelry and a snake while I raked and mulched my very first yard of leaves. Oh, and guess who's taken3 naps in the past four days? That's right! All hope is not lost!

The Weekly Jude 10/7/12

From eating outside on Wednesday night to freezing our booties off at the pumpkin patch on Saturday, good old Minnesota keeps us on our toes! Up side - Jude had a blast at the pumpkin patch playing in the corn pit, jumping in the pumpkin and feeding the cows. Plus, we got to pick our pumpkins right off the vine!

It was apple orchard day! And since Jude seems to have decided that he no longer needs to nap, we took advantage of that and actually slept in a bit this morning.

Ok. I just had too many great pics this week for one pic. So great ready for a bunch!

First, there was Wednesday night when I picked up Jude and June from school (and neither of them had napped) so we could go meet June's new "baby brudder," Leo! The J's are such awesome buds.

Man I love fall in the Midwest. It was a perfect early fall day. We had an excellent weekend and it was topped off by hours spent outside with this kid.

The WEEKLY Jude 8/26/12

Yeah. I have to admit it. I can't do the daily thing anymore. I'm going to see how weekly goes.

This past week was week one of losing the diaper (while awake) and bringing on the undies. Monday turned out to be accident-free, but we had to wait for Friday to get another. Since then, however, we haven had a single accident, and he hasn't even had a wet diaper after nap or nighttime. PROGRESS!

Jude has been super into a book called "Dim Sum for Everyone." To prep him for his first trip to dim sum, Jude tried out his trainer chopsticks with dinner tonight. He was SO proud if himself!
